"Art should be about an experience that changes the way you look at things and enhances our every day experiences. It should be a point of light in a troubled world"   Sander Bos

"Underpinning all human interaction & all aspects of the human experience are feelings and emotions..... The reason why we value beautiful art, resonate with music, enjoy great food, bask in the sunshine, smile when happy, dance with wild abandon, seek and embrace love in our lives, and pursue all other forms of activities from which we derive pleasure; is that these awaken in us feelings and emotions unique to to a particular experience which we treasure and often utilise in order to enjoy, embrace and interpret what it means to be human........

This site is aimed at connecting people with feelings and emotions associated with various forms of artistic expression which we feel transcend the everyday.........We do this by by providing an online platform which showcases unique talent from all around the world...."

We are based in Australia’s Green Cauldron, which encompasses the Northern Rivers and South East Queensland’s Gold Coast hinterland, an area rich in natural and cultural heritage, and home to an amazing array of artists. Our region The Northern Rivers is home to the highest concentration of arts and creative industries practitioners outside of metropolitan centres in Australia.

We aim to provide exposure for local artists who express themselves imaginatively with exceptional technique and an adventurous individuality.

The artists featured on this site are unique in vision; they do not conform to a common agenda or follow a manifesto. The terms Surreal, Ethereal, Sublime, Phantasmagorical, and Visionary can be used to loosely describe the artworks within this website, each work is unique and invites the viewer to enjoy and embrace the mystic beauty that transcendental art provides in purple spades.

We are proud to promote local and international talent with the simple aim of providing you with Medicine for Your Eyeballs.

MEDICINE FOR YOUR EYEBALLS

WE ARE GRATEFUL AND EXCITED ABOUT FEATURING THESE TWO AMAZING ARTISTS THROUGHOUT JANUARY:

   IZZY IVY & KATKA ADAMS

In the Month of February, we are presenting the following:

- An Interview with Mahlimae : Nicole Watt aka Mahlimae's (Australia) exquisitely simplistic and emotionally driven characters evolve from a world long forgotten; a world hidden in the shadows of imagination.

- An Interview with Pedro Jardim : Brazilian artist Pedro Jardim captures a distinctive, feral beauty while the expression and subtle color palettes of his subjects create an evocative sense of mystery. A graduate of graphic design at ESPM, Rio de Janeiro, and having studied at The School of Visual Arts (New York), Pedro’s compelling artistic vision (whether drawing, painting, or sculpting) explores the origins and corridors of myth, physics, and the gentle ephemera of nature’s botanical elements.

- The art of Andrew Annenberg : Andrew's work has been referred to as "visionary realism". Much of his artistic inspiration comes from the Lemurian feeling of the Hawaiian islands, his enchantment with the tropical version of paradise, as well as his fascination with the primal, the archetypal, the mythological, and the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece, and Atlantis.  His art work is distributed through his own company - Annenberg Masterworks - and he is one of the featured artists in Iasos' video program "Crystal Vista". Click here for excerpts from the video.

- The art & music of Bernard Xolotl : Besides being a visionary artist, Xolotl is also a well-known electronic space musician.   In fact, his web site features examples of his art and his music. Bernard's art is influenced by Tibetan Buddhist art, Mayan & Aztec mythology, and a deep respect and fascination for sacred geometry.  He is another one of the featured artists in Iasos' video program "Crystal Vista".

The Art of Andrew Annenberg

Through his meticulous and astute observation of detail, Andrew is able to convey a convincing spatial vista that incorporates, within the same composition, simultaneous and inter-dimensional mingling of imminent and transcendent Reality: a breakdown of our conventional programmed way of seeing. That is the skill of the artist-to open our eyes, to de-condition us from our lazy mode of awareness.

Earth Frequency Festival is a music, arts, lifestyle and environmental festival. based in South-East Queensland, Australia, with a strong focus on arts, education, healing and community spirit, While drawing from many cultural niches such as transformational festival, tribal gathering, doof and boutique festival, the aim of Earth Frequency Festival is to go beyond these traditional tags and to exist as a multi-faceted gathering focused broadly on creativity, community, connection, intention and inspiration.

From it’s origins as a small landcare party in 2005, Earth Frequency has now become one of Australia's foremost transformational gatherings.  At Earth Frequency, you can always expect an amazing mixture of live and electronic music, performance, visionary art, workshops and lectures, a family and kids space, and a fantastic food and markets area, and of course a positive community vibe.  Our aim is to create nothing short of a life changing, transformative experience!  We aim to provide a meeting place - people from many different backgrounds, ages and walks of life come together with the shared interests of music, nature, technology, culture, community and peace.

Earth Frequency Festival is held each year at Ivory's Rock Conventions and Events, Peak Crossing. Ivory's Rock is a beautiful outdoor venue with top notch facilities, comfortable campgrounds, and it is conveniently located under an hour from Brisbane and just 20 minutes from Ipswich. Nurtured by the setting of the beautiful Australian outdoors, we gather together once a year to celebrate life with music, art and other creative forms, and to educate, connect, heal and inspire.  For those attending, it may just be the defining weekend of your summer!
